U.S. Bank is seeking a Credit Risk Review Officer to independently evaluate and monitor risk across Wholesale Banking. You will analyze portfolio credit quality, report findings, and collaborate with senior leaders to strengthen risk management processes.

The role requires evaluating underwriting and portfolio management, identifying gaps, and resolving issues to minimize losses. Strong communication, regulatory knowledge, and independent work are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• Typically more than six years of applicable experience.
• Credit analysis and underwriting experience.
• Ability to evaluate a business unit’s underwriting and portfolio management processes.
• Draws accurate conclusions and can make decisions without full information.
• Strong communication and writing skills.
• Strong time management to meet deadlines.
• Self-starter and ability to work independently.
• Knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, financial services and regulatory trends.
• Relationship building and negotiation skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsabilités

• Evaluate and monitor credit risk and management processes across the bank.
• Analyze portfolio credit quality and portfolio reporting, including independent reviews.
• Collaborate with senior leadership from Credit Risk Management, Business Lines and Corporate Audit Services.
• Identify gaps and inform solutions to minimize losses from inadequate internal processes, systems or human errors.
• Escalate risks as appropriate and communicate findings clearly.
