Job summary

Nomura in New York seeks a proactive Credit Risk Analyst to support the Regional Head of Credit Risk Infrastructure and Reporting. You will communicate effectively, be risk-aware, and help implement SQL data extraction, design automated workflows and operating models to strengthen risk management.

Responsibilities

• Technical Implementation: use SQL for data extraction and analysis; design automated workflows; design/maintain target operating models.
• Process Improvement & Automation: collaborate with IT to streamline risk processes; develop tools for internal risk/regulatory needs.
• Data Analysis & Risk Management: monitor risk areas and metrics; support CRM in managing limits and exposures.
• Control & Governance: perform regular checks, issue tracking and governance of risk analyst workflows.
• Reporting & Presentations: prepare senior management decks on risk metrics; deliver regulatory reports and multi-divisional updates.
• Internal Audit & Reconciliation: implement adjustments; conduct reconciliations; escalate discrepancies to senior management.
