Job summary

Energy Transfer LP is seeking a Credit Risk Analyst to join the Credit Risk Management group in Houston. You will evaluate counterparty creditworthiness, monitor risk, and collaborate with legal, commercial, and accounting teams to strengthen risk processes and reporting.

The role requires a finance-related degree or equivalent experience, plus 2–5 years in credit risk or wholesale credit management. Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel/Word are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• Experience in wholesale credit management with financial statement analysis.
• Familiarity with credit reporting agencies and risk principles.
• Experience with credit scoring and risk management systems/models.
• Proficient in Excel and Word; strong written and verbal skills.
• Detail oriented with strong analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and evaluate creditworthiness of counterparties using financial statements and data platforms.
• Perform comprehensive credit analysis to recommend credit limits.
• Assess entity structure to gauge counterparty and enterprise risk.
• Maintain and monitor credit accounts; identify changes in risk status.
• Support reporting and risk management systems; collaborate cross-functionally.
• Respond promptly to counterparty margin calls and information requests.
• Assist in process improvements for credit risk workflows.
• Other tasks as assigned.
