Job summary

Nationwide is seeking an experienced Investment Quantitative Analyst to translate complex investment questions into reusable tools and insights. You will shape asset allocation, portfolio construction, and trading strategies while advancing automation and AI-enabled processes for front-office teams.

You will collaborate with Portfolio Managers and analytics teams to deliver transparent, scalable research outputs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, mathematics, statistics, engineering, computer science, or a related quantitative field preferred.
• Advanced degree and/or CFA preferred.
• Typically 8+ years' investment or quantitative experience in portfolio management, research, trading, or analytics.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Portfolio Managers and analysts to shape and test investment ideas by building and maintaining analytic views, signals, and tools.
• Support security selection and trade design through fair-value, relative-value, scenario, and contribution analysis across asset classes and portfolios.
• Enhance sizing, portfolio construction, and monitoring by developing views, dashboards, and standard analytics packs.
