Job summary

BMO Harris Bank seeks an executive to design, develop and manage credit policies for Retail and Wholesale Credit, ensuring alignment with enterprise governance and group goals. The role leads cross-functional teams across BMO to deliver policy outcomes and strategic initiatives.

The position acts as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, overseeing policy implementation for Business Banking and related segments while driving performance and change across the organization.

Qualifications

• Typically 9+ years of relevant experience in the financial services industry.
• Thorough knowledge of banking products, services, and interrelationships.
• Experience delivering strategic initiatives affecting people, processes, and technology.
• Knowledge of MS Access is desirable.
• Strong verbal and written communication, analytical, and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Provides subject matter expertise in design, development, management, and implementation of assigned projects from business case development through execution.
• Develops and drafts credit policies for Retail and Wholesale Credit teams.
• Oversees policy governance and enterprise alignment across groups and markets.
• Leads cross-functional teams, manages multiple programs, and ensures accountability for outcomes.
• Advises senior leaders and influences strategic business decisions.
