Bank is looking to hire a Credit Officer

• Review spreadsheets, other financial/non-financial information for underlying loan transaction. Prepare the credit assessment for new credit proposals and credit renewals.
• Validate Credit Risk Ratings in compliance with the Bank's credit guidelines.
• Ensure the loan underwriting analysis is complete and compliant with Bank’s policies & procedures.
• Communicate effectively and engage proactively with loan underwriters regarding new loan conditions, documentation requirements, possible loan scenarios, and loan decisions.
• Provide first-line advisory guidance, routinely monitor compliance, assess risks, and implement mitigation activities.
• Approve loan closing after review of loan documentation or recommend further action.
• Interact with all levels of management, work collaboratively in a team, and work independently.
• Be detail-oriented and able to complete assignments within established deadlines.
• Understand legal documentation standards and meet all loan closing requirements.
• Maintain excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills for effective interaction with other departments.
• Conduct client and site visits locally, with some out-of-state travel.
• Perform other credit-related duties and assignments as required.
