GreenStone Farm Credit Services invites you to join our Credit Internship program across East Lansing, Ann Arbor, Alma, or Bad Axe. This paid internship offers hands-on experience in credit underwriting within the agricultural sector, with mentorship and real project work.

You will analyze data using GreenStone systems, collaborate with Credit Analysts, and contribute to lending decisions that support rural communities. The program runs February 2027 – August 2027 and pays $20 per hour.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in agriculture, business, finance, accounting or economics.
• Sophomore status or above.
• Minimum GPA of 3.00.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Self-motivated and eager to learn.

Responsibilities

• Learn from Experts: Work closely with an experienced Agricultural Lending Credit Analyst to gain valuable insights into the intricacies of credit underwriting specific to the agricultural sector.
• Harness Data: Utilize our advanced GreenStone systems to gather, analyze, and present critical data essential for various projects. You'll play a pivotal role in ensuring projects are executed efficiently and effectively within established timelines.

Requirements:

• Must be pursuing a bachelor’s degree in agriculture, Business, Finance, Accounting or Economics.
• Agriculture background or interest preferred.
• Sophomore status or above in your academic program.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
