Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in credit and collections, preferably manufacturing or distribution.
• Strong understanding of credit analysis and risk assessment.
• Experience reviewing D&B reports and establishing credit limits.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills with a customer-focused approach.
• Ability to manage a large portfolio of accounts and prioritize in a high-volume setting.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of 500–750 customer accounts across regions, mainly IN and KY.
• Perform credit evaluations using D&B reports, trade references, and credit files.
• Set credit limits for new and existing customers based on risk and history.
• Lead collections through proactive outreach and high-volume collection calls.
• Investigate and resolve short payments, discrepancies, and billing issues promptly.
• Monitor disputes and ensure proper documentation and reconciliation.
• Collaborate with sales teams to address credit concerns and support business goals.
• Review and release orders held on credit, per policy.
• Respond to customer inquiries about status, payments, and terms.
