Job summary

Monzo is seeking a Credit Platform professional to source, onboard and manage Credit Reference Agencies and external-data suppliers across consumer and commercial data.

You will maintain a single source of truth on bureau data, track budgets, and coordinate with Legal, DP, Security and Procurement. The role offers visa sponsorship and flexible UK-based distribution.

Responsibilities

• Support sourcing, onboarding and day-to-day management of Credit Reference Agencies and external-data suppliers across consumer and commercial data.
• Maintain Monzo's single source of truth on what bureau data and products we hold, contracted for, and how each is used.
• Track spend against supplier volumes and budgets, surfacing cost-optimisation opportunities.
• Coordinate supplier onboarding steps with Legal, Data Protection, Security and Procurement.
• Help test and evaluate new CRA and alternative-data products, and document findings for the squad to evaluate further.
• Own end-to-end supplier relationships or EU workstreams (e.g. Open Banking scoring).
• Lead discrete procurement/contract-lifecycle activities and shape supplier strategy in your area.

Our team

Credit Platform's mission is to systematise credit analysis and decisioning across Monzo's products, data and geographies. We source, onboard and manage the credit bureau and external-data suppliers that power underwriting in the UK and, increasingly, across the EU. You'll join a small, high-performing team supporting an ambitious multi-market growth agenda.

You’ll play a key role by...

• Supporting the sourcing, onboarding and day-to-day management of Credit Reference Agencies and external-data suppliers across consumer and commercial data
• Maintaining Monzo's single source of truth on what bureau (borrowing) data and products we hold, what we're contracted for, and how each is used
• Tracking and reconciling spend against supplier volumes and budgets, and surfacing cost-optimisation opportunities
• Coordinating supplier onboarding steps with Legal, Data Protection, Security and Procurement
• Helping test and evaluate new CRA and alternative-data products, and writing up findings for the squad to evaluate further
• Owning end-to-end one or more supplier relationships or EU workstreams (e.g. Open Banking scoring, a market's bureau stack), and deputising for the Credit Bureau Relationship Manager
• Leading discrete procurement/contract-lifecycle activities and shaping supplier strategy in your area

• You're proactive and self-starting: you chase things down and keep work moving without being asked
• You're genuinely curious about credit-bureau data, suppliers and how they support lending and keen to build that domain knowledge
• Nice to have: exposure to procurement, supplier/vendor management, or financial services
