First Western Trust in Boulder, CO is seeking a Credit Analyst to support the Profit Center by underwriting new loan requests, managing renewals, and maintaining portfolio compliance. This role emphasizes strong credit processing, client service, and collaboration with Relationship Bankers to identify opportunities and ensure a high standard of credit quality.

The position requires 3-5 years in lending or credit administration, excellent Excel skills, and experience with CRM and banking

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or related field.
• 3-5 years of lending, credit administration, and/or banking experience.
• Strong Excel skills and proficiency with banking/credit software; experience with CRM systems.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite and analyze consumer and less complex commercial loan requests in support of Relationship Bankers.
• Manage loan portfolio compliance, including file exceptions, past dues, maturing loans, covenant tracking, and documentation.
• Coordinate all stages of credit processing—from client outreach and document collection through application, approval, closing, and onboarding.
• Facilitate renewals, modifications, and annual reviews to maintain relationship quality and prevent asset attrition.
• Identify lending opportunities within existing client relationships and introduce additional bank products to meet client needs.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of internal policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, ensuring adherence across all credit functions.
