Job summary

Responsibilities

  • Underwrite and analyze consumer and less complex commercial loan requests in support of Relationship Bankers.
  • Manage loan portfolio compliance, including file exceptions, past dues, maturing loans, covenant tracking, and documentation.
  • Coordinate all stages of credit processing—from client outreach and document collection through application, approval, closing, and onboarding.
  • Facilitate renewals, modifications, and annual reviews to maintain relationship quality and prevent asset attrition.
  • Identify lending opportunities within existing client relationships and introduce additional bank products to meet client needs.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of internal policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, ensuring adherence across all credit functions.

About the Role

The Credit Analyst supports the Profit Center (PC) by identifying key revenue‑generating opportunities across loans, deposits, and investment assets. This role is primarily responsible for underwriting new loan requests, managing renewals, and maintaining portfolio compliance—ensuring strong credit performance and client retention. Key responsibilities include analyzing less complex loan relationships, managing file exceptions, tracking past dues and covenants, and supporting the loan process from application through onboarding. The role also includes client outreach, annual reviews, and collaboration with Relationship Bankers to identify new opportunities and support delivery of financial solutions. Success in this role requires strong analytical skills, process discipline, and the ability to manage a variety of credit and service‑related tasks with accuracy and urgency.

What You’ll Do
