Job summary

VEDA seeks a motivated Credit Analyst or Senior Credit Analyst to support loan officers with financial and business analysis for new loan and servicing requests. You will draft loan credit memos for management and the Board to aid decisions, and analyze financial statements, market strengths, and weaknesses.

The role requires collaboration with colleagues, accurate financial modeling, and a commitment to detail. Location in Vermont offices with in-office presence at least 3 days weekly.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; credit analysis experience preferred.
• Experience evaluating balance sheets, income statements, cash flow and collateral.
• Strong written and verbal communication and customer service skills.
• Detail-oriented with ability to learn financial databases and tools.

Responsibilities

• Support loan officers with financial and business analysis for new loans.
• Draft loan credit memos to aid management and the Board in decisions.
