Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Four to six years underwriting experience in a consumer lending/underwriting environment within a financial institution.
• Knowledge of financial industry policies and operations is a must.
• Experience with L360, Meridian Link, or Ideal is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Develop relationship with credit union representatives to negotiate loan terms and communicate with dealers and credit unions.
• Review loan applications and render decisions within underwriting criteria and approval limits.
• Adequately document details of decisions to explain rationale and support funding.
• Participate in fraud detection techniques and new client implementations.
