Job summary

You will review financial statements, spread ratios, and assess repayment capacity, supporting loan decisions with detailed presentations. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field and 3+ years of banking credit analysis experience, with strong Excel skills and regulatory knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
• 3+ years of experience in commercial credit analysis
• Formal advanced training in Microsoft Excel preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform credit analyses and financial statement reviews of complex loans and commercial/agribusiness relationships.
• Create professional credit presentations summarizing borrower's financial condition and repayment capacity for loan officers or loan committee.
• Monitor loan requests and assign risk ratings based on lending policies and regulatory guidelines.
• Research industry information and provide analysis.
• Investigate credit sources including bureaus and industry data.
• Assist with training of less tenured analysts and review colleagues' work.
• Meet with commercial clients with loan officers to foster relationships and enhance credit understanding.
• Support other credit analysis tasks, reporting, and monitoring as assigned.
• Participate in credit-related projects and training.
