Job summary

CFS in Madison, WI is seeking a Credit Analyst II to analyze new loans up to $30M+, gather documentation, and monitor loan performance. The role involves evaluating tax returns, income statements, balance sheets, and credit reports to determine credit risk.

The position includes mentoring junior analysts and performing risk ratings and file reviews for commercial credits as needed. A finance-related degree with 2+ years of experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelors in Finance, Accounting or related field required or equivalent experience.
• Associates degree welcomed as additional credential.
• Minimum 2+ years in financial analysis or credit/financing roles.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities to interact with clients and teams.

Responsibilities

• Analyze new loans up to $30M+ for the organization.
• Gather and analyze loan documentation and assess risk.
• Oversee documentation, monitor member files and loan performance.
• Review financial statements and credit reports to determine risk.
• Mentor other Credit Analysts on the team.
• Complete risk ratings and file reviews for commercial credits when needed.

• Gather and analyze loan documentation

• Analyze statements such as tax returns, income statements, balance sheets, rent rolls, leases, appraisals, personal financial statements and credit reports to determine the degree of risk involved in extending credit or lending money
• Mentor Credit Analyst on team
• Complete risk ratings and file review of commercial credits when necessary.

Qualifications For The Credit Analyst Ii

• Bachelors degree; Finance, Accounting, Business; or related field
• Associate degree is welcomed
• 2+ Years of financial analysis or financial services/credit experience
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships by using appropriate communication skills.

Salary: $70,000 - $85,000
