First Federal Community Bank’s Loan Team seeks a Credit Analyst to support loan decisioning onsite in Dover, Ohio. You will gather and review financial data to determine loan eligibility and ensure documentation aligns with policy.

You will analyze creditworthiness, work with loan officers, and help prepare reports, statements, and opinions for officers. Attention to detail and accurate data handling are essential.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting preferred and/or one to two years of experience in a financial institution or loan office setting.
  • Strong financial, detail and analytical abilities.
  • Proficient computer skills.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills.

Responsibilities

  • Analyzes loan data on new, renewal and existing loans, including data provided by credit bureaus, other financial institutions, and financial institution files
  • Assists in preparing spreadsheets, reports, summaries, and opinions for financial institution officers on new, renewal and existing loans
  • Assists in overseeing financial information files to assure current reports, financial statements, accounts receivable and other information on customer accounts
  • Appraisal review
  • Establishes, reviews and updates new and existing loan files for the financial institution on a regular basis
  • Provides technical advice and assistance to loan officers as needed
  • Tracks loan exceptions
  • Effectively utilizes Learning & Development tools and resources
  • Understands the importance of and follows bank policies and procedures
  • Handles confidential information and documents to ensure customer privacy
  • Demonstrates accuracy, punctuality and preparedness
  • Demonstrates problem-solving skills
  • Adheres to high ethical standards, and complies with industry regulations/applicable laws
