Job summary

Western Alliance Bank in Boston, MA seeks a Credit Analyst for its 2027 Commercial Banking Development Program in Fund Banking. You’ll analyze financials, spread and manage data, and develop credit studies for loan officers and senior management.

Responsibilities include preparing reports, performing risk analyses, and producing loan packages for new or restructured loans, while collaborating with treasury, FX and legal teams.

Qualifications

• Completion of an Accounting course.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• GPA of 3.0 or higher is required.
• Strong analytical, communication, leadership and organizational skills.
• Interest in Commercial Banking and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Spread, manage and maintain financial background information on customers and develop credit studies for Loan Officers and executives.
• Prepare credit department reports and analyze financials; update bank systems accordingly.
• Review client financials and perform sensitivity analyses to evaluate credit risk.
• Collaborate with bank groups to execute treasury management, FX, derivatives and legal documents.
• Produce loan packages for new and restructured loans and monitor disbursements for compliance.
