Job summary

American Community Bank of Indiana is seeking a Credit Analyst to support Senior Management and the Commercial Lending Department. You will gather and analyze financial data on borrowers, input information into underwriting spreads, and provide clear written and verbal analyses for loan requests.

This role emphasizes evaluating cash flow, liquidity ratios, and debt repayment ability, maintaining credit files, and ensuring policy compliance. Banking and financial analysis experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
• 1–2 years in bank credit administration or similar banking/financial analysis experience preferred.
• Knowledge of financial analysis, including ratio calculations, cash flow and debt-service assessment.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes/spreads business and personal financial statements and tax returns for loan packages.
• Compares current financial info to prior statements to detect trends.
• Maintains organized credit files and documents findings.
• Ensures compliance with loan policy and assists in loan approvals and write-ups.
• Evaluates borrower’s credit worthiness considering banking relationships and financial condition.
