Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in credit, finance, customer data management, shared services, or related operational support.
• Experience maintaining customer account data and supporting workflow-driven processes in enterprise systems.
• Ability to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve data discrepancies, system errors, and process exceptions.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Word, for reporting, mail merge, and routine business communications.

• Assign customer account maintenance requests and assist internal teams with errors and questions.
• Complete customer setup and maintenance requests and support data evolution.
• Process large-scale customer account changes and assist with new acquisitions.
• Provide system support by identifying missing information and updating records as needed.
• Route operational emails and unfinished invoices to Credit Managers.
• Handle customer communication requests and mail merge activities for outbound correspondence.
• Prepare monthly KPI reporting and forward failed invoices for updates.
• Review daily account synchronization reports and correct discrepancies.

This role helps ensure accurate customer records, data integrity, timely communication, and operational support across credit-related systems and processes.Major Tasks, Responsibilities, and Key AccountabilitiesPerform testing and validation activities as needed during system upgrades, process changes, and peak support periods.Assign customer account maintenance requests and assist internal teams with related errors, questions, and issue resolution.Complete customer setup and maintenance requests and support increased activity as data requirements evolve.Process large-scale customer account changes and support the setup of newly acquired customer records.Provide system support by identifying missing or incomplete information, coordinating with Credit Managers, and updating records as needed to support downstream processing.Route operational emails, returned mail, and messages from shared credit mailboxes to the appropriate Credit Managers or internal contacts.Handle customer communication requests and complete mail merge activities for outbound correspondence.Complete monthly support team KPI reporting and forward failed invoices or statements to Credit Managers for account updates.Resolve data errors, assist with data cleanup activities when requested, and address operational workflow exceptions.Review daily account synchronization reports to verify alignment across systems and make corrections as needed.Communicate with Credit Managers regarding undelivered automated emails and update shared team resources as needed.Direct incoming messages from general credit mailboxes and route responses to payment reminder emails appropriately.Requirements1+ years of experience in credit, finance, customer data management, shared services, or a related operational support fieldExperience maintaining customer account data and supporting workflow-driven processes in enterprise systemsWorking knowledge of ERP systems, customer data platforms, or similar business applications preferredAbility to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve data discrepancies, system errors, and process exceptionsStrong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through in a high-volume environmentAbility to communicate effectively with Credit Managers and other internal business partnersProficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Word, for reporting, mail merge, and routine business communicationsDemonstrated adaptability, initiative, and commitment to process improvement and team supportCore & Main is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer.
