Job summary

Landing Point is seeking a Credit Analyst for its Credit Analyst Program in New York. You will manage financial updates for a portfolio list, assess performance from financials, and prepare monitoring reports.

You will perform credit analysis on new leveraged loan deals and draft investment memos for the Investment Committee. The role requires 2–3 years in financial services, strong Excel with macros and pivot tables, and a finance or accounting degree (GPA 3.5+).

Qualifications

• Finance or accounting degree with GPA 3.5+.
• 2–3 years of experience in financial services.
• Strong Excel skills including macros and pivot tables.
• CPA, CFA or other professional designation a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage collection and distribution of financial updates for an assigned portfolio list.
• Assess portfolio performance through review of financial statements and discussions with management.
• Prepare financial update flash summaries and monitoring reports.
• Perform ongoing diligence and provide regular updates to Portfolio Managers.
• Conduct fundamental credit analysis of new leveraged loan deals.
• Draft investment memos and present to the Investment Committee.
• Perform quarterly valuation analysis of illiquid investments.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly internal and external reporting packages.
• Organize and execute recurring portfolio management oriented workstreams.
• Maintain fund models and provide regular updates on earnings projections.

A leading investment firm with over $60 billion in assets under management is seeking to add a Credit Analyst to its Credit Analyst Program. The role involves working on the firm's Credit platform, which focuses on leveraged loans and includes Direct Lending funds and a CLO platform.

Job Responsibilities

• Manage the collection and distribution of financial updates for an assigned portfolio company coverage list
• Assess portfolio company performance through review of financial statements and discussions with management
• Prepare financial update flash summaries and monitoring reports
• Perform ongoing diligence and provide regular updates to Portfolio Managers

• Draft investment memos and present to the Investment Committee

Compensation

Salary: $115,000, Plus Bonus
