Job summary

Cache Valley Bank in Logan, Utah, is seeking a Credit Analyst to evaluate credit data and financial information for loan applicants and assess risk. You will prepare analyses, loan summaries, and collateral reviews, supporting loan committees and branch leadership.

A finance or accounting degree and strong analytical skills are required. Proficiency with spreadsheets and clear communication by email/phone are essential, and Sparak banking system experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Analyze credit data and financial information of persons or companies applying for credit to determine risk for the bank
• Complete loan applications, including credit analyses and summaries of loan requests, and submit to loan committees for approval
• Conduct evaluations and inspections on collateral for existing and potential loans
• Prepare weekly past due and loan maturing reports
• Must to able to assist Branch Manager/Senior Lender with recommendations on credit application approval/denial based on research and analysis
• Must be very familiar with Cache Valley Bank’s credit policy
