Qualifications

• Experience with credentialing, provider enrollment or background verification.
• Knowledge of Joint Commission, NCQA, URAC, HFAP standards.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and meet deadlines.
• Healthcare or hospital setting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Medical Staff Affairs office operations and credentialing workflows.
• Coordinate credentialing and recredentialing with the CVO.
• Manage medical staff meetings and ensure accurate information flow to the MEC and Board.
• Respond to verification requests and maintain accurate records.
• Interpret bylaws, policies, and regulatory standards for medical staff.
• Ensure compliance with accrediting bodies and relevant laws.
• Coordinate annual medical staff projects and related bookkeeping.
• Communicate with physician quality teams, medical staff leaders, and legal counsel.
• Maintain confidentiality of medical staff and business information.
• Support departmental performance and teamwork.
