Job summary

Action Behavior Centers in Austin, TX is seeking a Credentialing Specialist to join our Revenue Cycle Management team. The right candidate will manage CAQH attestations, Availity tasks, and credentialing workflows with precision and timeliness.

This full-time, on-site role offers competitive hourly pay between $18 and $22, with generous benefits and PTO. You will train and support enrollment processes across markets while maintaining accurate provider data.

Qualifications

• 2–10 years of professional experience.
• 2+ years of administrative experience, preferably in Behavioral Health or Healthcare.
• 1–5 years of credentialing experience preferred.
• Delegated Credentialing experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of CAQH attestations and processing.
• Proficient in Excel and Word; Google Suite experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate confidently and professionally about past accomplishments.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize and complete work accurately, efficiently, and within established deadlines.
• Maintain Availity database additions, changes, and verification requests.
• Maintain provider/group demographic information and process updates accurately.
• Participate in delegated credentialing projects and complete assigned special projects.
• Resolve payer information requests in a timely manner.
• Review provider/group demographic changes, identify credentialing concerns, and obtain additional information as needed.
• Facilitate payer calls to address contracting or credentialing issues.
• Train Specialists and support enrollment processes across dual markets.
• Contribute to team efforts and complete additional duties as needed.
