Oklahoma State University’s OSU-Center for Health Sciences seeks a Credentialing Specialist to credential new providers and renewals with government insurers. This position works closely with the Credentialing Administrators and clinic leadership to ensure timely, accurate submissions.
You will update SSI and Availity records, collaborate with the 3 MCOs, and manage NPI registry updates, completing essential credentialing tasks. Strong analytical, communication, and teamwork are essential.

This role will work closely with theClinic Outreach and Credentialing Administratorwith the aim of credentialing of new providers and renewals for existing providers with Governmental insurers– Medicaid & the 3 MCO’s. Position will also work with clinic administrators andtheClinic Outreach and Credentialing Administratorto support the needs of clinicsfor renewals.The CredentialingSpecialistwill also work withdepartment leadershipinhelping to addresscredentialing needs, respond to physicians,staffand supervisors.Update SSI and Availity with the new provider andclinicsinformation. Work closely with the 3 MCO’s andsubmitthem weekly rosters. Work with the NPI registry for all termedand newphysiciansand groups. Other duties as assigned. Must be a team player.
Minimum ofthree(3) years of experience in multi-specialty-provider credentialing encompassing government, and otherMedicaidinsurance products, with increasing responsibility during thattime period, or related experience.
