Key Rehab in Murfreesboro, TN is seeking a full-time Credentialing Specialist to join our corporate support staff in Murfreesboro or nearby. This role focuses on credentialing and re-credentialing for therapists and clinicians within an outpatient setting, ensuring payer enrollment and adherence to regulatory standards.

The ideal candidate will have 1 year of healthcare experience, knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid enrollment processes, and proficiency with CAQH, MS Office, and Google products.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• One year of experience in a healthcare setting required.
• Two years credentialing experience preferred.
• Credentialing therapists and/or mental health clinicians preferred.
• Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payer enrollment processes.
• Familiarity with CAQH, MS Office, and Google products.
• Experience with insurance verification, HRIS, EMR software.
• Ability to problem-solve payer-specific challenges.

Responsibilities

As a Credentialing Specialist at Key Rehab, you will:

• Coordinate and manage the credentialing and re-credentialing processes for therapists and behavioral health clinicians in an outpatient setting.
• Ensure compliance with payer, regulatory, and organizational standards
• Collaborate with clinical leadership, operations, and the direct billing team to support timely provider enrollment and insurance credentialing

Experience

Required

• One (1) year of experience in a healthcare setting

Preferred

• Two (2) years of credentialing experience in a healthcare setting
• Previous experience credentialing therapists (PT/OT/SLP) and/or mental health clinicians (LPC/LCSW/Clinical Psycologist)
• Previous experience in billing in a healthcare setting.
• Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance payer enrollment processes.
• Understanding of outpatient therapy and/or behavioral health regulatory requirements.
• Proficiency with CAQH and MS Office and Google products.
• Familiarity with insurance verification, HRIS, electronic medical record software.
• Ability to problem-solve and navigate payer-specific challenges.
