Job summary

Mountrail County Health Center is seeking an administrative credentialing coordinator to manage provider enrollment, annual revalidations and Medicare processes. You will also handle board meeting minutes, contracts with insurers, mail distribution, and event support.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and submit Provider Payer Enrollment; Annually revalidation for providers and Medicare revalidation.
  • Attend and take minutes for monthly board meetings and other requested meetings.
  • Maintain and update contracts with insurance companies.
  • Distribute incoming mail and prepare outgoing mail daily.
  • Monitor and maintain supplies for mailroom copier and arrange service as needed.
  • Complete surveys including compliance with State and Federal agencies.
  • Maintain contact information for board members and act as liaison between staff and board.
  • Plan and prepare for events such as MBH Annual Meeting.
  • Order and stock vending machine supplies.
  • Assist in facility/staff registration for conferences and arrange accommodations.
  • Acknowledge staff birthdays and life events as per policy.
  • Maintain confidentiality of Residents, Patients, Employees, and Facility.
  • Know and comply with Residents' Rights.
  • Treat residents, patients, visitors and coworkers with kindness, dignity and respect.
  • Attend orientation, training, in-services, meetings and education courses.
  • Promote teamwork and willingness to adapt; follow rules and assignments.
  • Maintain a positive attitude and cooperate with management and staff.
  • Follow company dress code.

Position Summary

Responsible for ensuring all Providers and Facilities are credentialed.

Qualifications and Requirements
  1. 1. Educational Requirements:
    Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
    Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
  2. 2. Experience Requirements:
    Minimum two years clerical or administrative experience
    Prefer experience working for a non-profit organization
  3. 3. Special Skills or Training:
    • Demonstrated excellence in written and oral communication skills
    • Ability to perform mathematical functions
    • Ability to evaluate and interpret information and make independent decisions
    • Demonstrated ability to work independently and cooperatively with others
    • Familiarity with Microsoft Office software suite
    • Typing/word processing skills at 50 WPM
    • Knowledge of general office machines and telephone systems
    • Ability to maintain a high degree of discretion in dealing with confidential information
    • Ability and willingness to work as schedule dictates
    • Positive attitude toward the elderly and coworkers

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  3. 3. Maintains and updates contracts with insurance companies.

  5. 5. Monitor and maintain supplies for mailroom copier and arrange for service as needed.
  6. 6. Complete surveys including compliance with State and Federal agencies.
  7. 7. Maintain contact information for board members and act as liaison between staff and board members as directed.
  8. 8. Plan and prepare for events as requested, such as the MBH Annual Meeting.
  9. 9. Order and stock the vending machine.
