Job summary

Hudson Regional Health is seeking a Credentialing Specialist to support credentialing, re-credentialing and privileging for all providers. You will manage credentialing data in multiple databases, monitor renewals, and ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.

The role requires strong data-entry skills, confidentiality, and proficiency with MS Office. Typical hours are 8am–4pm, on-site at the hospital in Secaucus, NJ.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams.
• Previous experience in Medical Staff Services, Credentialing Specialist/Knowledge of credentialing.
• Strong organizational communication and data entry skills with attention to details.
• Demonstrates professionalism, ethical conduct discretion and strict confidentiality when handling provider and/or organizational information.

Responsibilities

• Assist in credentialing, re-credentialing and privileging process for all healthcare providers to provide patient care at the Hospital.
• Responsible for ensuring and maintaining data for each provider in credentialing databases and online systems timely renewal of licenses and certifications.
• Complies and maintains current and accurate data for all providers.
• Completes provider credentialing and re-credentialing applications; monitoring and follow-ups as needed.
• Ensure practice addresses are current with all entities.
• Maintain Copies of current Licenses, DEA Certificates, malpractice insurance/ coverage and other required documentation.
• Perform other duties assigned by System Director or the manager
• Coordinate provider onboarding and EMR-Training.
• Audit credentialing files to ensure regulatory and accreditation compliance.
• Provide administrative and operational support to the credentialing team as needed
