Palm Health Resources, a nationally recognized healthcare staffing firm, is seeking an experienced Credentialing Specialist with a background in locum tenens credentialing for Physicians and Advanced Practice Providers. What You’ll Do
  • Manage the full credentialing lifecycle for locum tenens physicians and advanced practice providers across multiple specialties and states.
  • Coordinate licensing, privileging, payer enrollment, primary source verifications, and facility onboarding requirements.
  • Maintain accurate credentialing records and documentation to ensure compliance with client, regulatory, and accreditation standards.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between providers, healthcare facilities, recruiters, and internal stakeholders throughout the credentialing process.
  • Monitor expiration dates and proactively manage renewals, reappointments, and re-credentialing requirements.
  • Ensure timely communication and follow-up to keep providers on track for scheduled assignments.
What We’re Looking For
  • 2+ years of experience credentialing locum tenens physicians and/or advanced practice providers (required).
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare credentialing, licensing requirements, compliance standards, and provider onboarding processes.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and follow-up skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple providers, facilities, and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Comfortable working independently in a remote environment while collaborating with a team.
