Job Overview
This position is responsible for the completion and tracking of provider applications, this position is responsible for maintaining credentialing files (including current licenses, CSR, and DEA certificates) on employed and non-employed providers billed by Patient Financial Services in a confidential manner. This position assists PFS staff with regards to billing issues related to credentialing. This position also assists PFS staff with electronic funds transfer, electronic remittance advices and electronic data interchange functions.
Education and Experience
High School Diploma or GED required. Prior credentialing experience preferred. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents and data. Ability to define problems, establish facts, and draw reasonable conclusions. Must understand the need for confidentiality when dealing with sensitive information. Skilled in exercising initiative, judgement, problem solving, and decision making.
