Pacific Companies is seeking a Risk Management Specialist to join our growing Risk Management Team. This role emphasizes timely credentialing, meticulous records, and proactive coordination with clinicians and clients to ensure smooth onboarding and privilege processes.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of credentialing experience, excellent communication, and the ability to work independently under pressure while maintaining a high level of organization and accuracy.

Qualifications

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organization.

Responsibilities

  • Verify documents and employment history for clinicians.
  • Submit background checks and Drug screenings via HireRight.
  • Follow up on paperwork to obtain privileges.
  • Attend weekly department calls and provide status updates.
  • Coordinate with recruiters to ensure smooth credentialing and onboarding.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure high levels of customer service.

Pacific Companies is currently seeking a Risk Management Specialist to join our growing Risk Management Team. The ideal candidate for this role must be a great communicator, proactive, adaptable, able to pivot when necessary and juggle multiple diverse responsibilities with a strong emphasis on organization and an unwavering attention to detail. The ideal candidate must have at least 1 to 3 years of credentialing experience and must be able to work independently under pressure, have a sense of urgency, and be driven to get the job done while anticipating needs and keeping the operations of the team moving smoothly. Responsibilities
  • Verifying all documents and employment history for clinicians
  • Submit background checks and drug screenings through HireRight for locum tenens clinicians.
  • Follow up with clinicians and relevant clients on required paperwork to obtain privileges.
  • Attend weekly calls with alternating departments and provide a status update on files in process.
  • Follow up with recruiters on needed information to ensure a smooth credentialing and onboarding process.
  • Utilize advanced problem-solving skills to resolve issues and conflicts that may arise.
  • Communicate with in-house credentialing, recruiting, and human resource departments.
  • Ensure a high degree of customer service to our clients as well as the clinicians to ensure both parties have a pleasant experience.
  • Confirm clinicians are up to date with medical licenses and board exams as required by the client.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate records such as reports, forms, and correspondence.
Qualifications
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • 1 to 3 years of credentialing experience in an agency setting.
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure as well as have a high sense of urgency.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and customer service skills for both internal and external customers
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and organize a diversified workload.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Maintain professionalism, courtesy, and composure always, including in stressful situations.
  • Ability to be a self-motivated team player who takes initiative.
  • Exhibit a high degree of conflict resolution skills while prioritizing business needs.
  • Proficient in the English language.
