Job summary

Medical University Hospital Authority (MUHA) seeks an experienced credentialing administrator to manage full-cycle credentialing and reappointment processes. You will provide administrative support to department governance, committees, and medical staff, exercising judgment within bylaws and policies.

The role requires familiarity with medical staff bylaws, Joint Commission, CMS, and state regulations, plus strong organizational and customer service skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or bachelor's degree with 3–5 years' admin/credentialing experience.
• Experience supporting Credentials Committee or MEC preferred or in progress toward certification.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a resource to medical staff officers and governance committees.
• Coordinate and support medical staff meetings, agendas, and minutes.
• Review credentialing and reappointment applications with primary source verification.
• Monitor licensure, board certification, DEA registration, and appropriate insurances.
