Job summary

University Hospitals in Cleveland is seeking a CVO Coordinator to oversee the initial credentialing process, analyze primary source verification data, and maintain integrity in the credentialing database.

Under supervision, the role functions as an agent of the protected peer review process and supports onboarding and enterprise credentialing information management across departments.

Qualifications

• Requires strong knowledge of credentialing processes and standards.
• Experience with data audits and quality controls.
• Ability to train new team members.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and analyze initial credentialing applications and verifications.
• Maintain data quality and integrity in credentialing systems.
• Ensure compliance with Joint Commission, CMS, NCQA standards and related regulations.
• Assist with onboarding and training of new staff in credentialing.
• Support integration of acquisitions and set up staff records in MSOW.
• Assist system manager with development of electronic work processes in the credentialing database.
• Participate in testing and rollout of new database modules and upgrades.
• Review initial appointment files to ensure requirements are met and records are properly updated.
