What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Complete credentialing requests for Medicare, private insurance, and hospital credentialing for various physicians and mid-level practitioners across multiple states.
- Manage a detailed tracking system for both completed and pending credentialing assignments.
- Maintain comprehensive files related to practitioner credentialing and licensing, documenting all communication throughout the enrollment process.
- Manage provider contracts, analyzing rates and terms while keeping track of effective and expiration dates.
- Respond to requests for credentialing data and prepare periodic status reports for internal and external stakeholders.
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 3 years of active experience with credentialing medical practices and/or physicians with Medicare and commercial insurance providers.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word.
- Familiarity with CAQH and experience in updating CAQH profiles.
- Strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
- Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving abilities.
