Job summary

Travel Nurse Across America, LLC is seeking a Credentialing Assistant to provide administrative support to the Credentialing team. You will manage clinician records, process compliance tasks, and assist in maintaining pending and active files across multiple business lines.

You’ll handle NPDB registrations, I-9/VIS and E-verify processes, monthly roster reviews, reimbursements, and cross-training across HCS, MSP, and agency lines. Collaborative, detail-focused candidates thrive here.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ year of experience in a similar role

Responsibilities

  • Maintain CE Direct account and set up Clinician accounts as needed
  • Enter, process, and renew NPDB registrations
  • Assist Clinicians with I-9 forms and document verification
  • Complete E-verify for new hires and reverification for rehires
  • Monitor expiring items and provide daily status updates to Clients
  • Escalate at-risk items and provide weekly expiring-compliance reports
  • Manage and collect renewal compliance requirements
  • Review state rosters monthly to remove Clinicians
  • Run IDFPR monthly reporting
  • Enter/maintain Clinician data in E-notify/Nursys roster
  • Complete SSN verifications via SSA as needed
  • Review and process reimbursements to ensure guidelines
  • Participate in 1+ cross-training sessions per year
  • May float to other business lines as needed

Job description

The Credentialing Assistant provides administrative and clerical support to the Credentialing team by managing documentation, processing compliance and verification tasks, and assisting in the maintenance of pending and/or active Clinician files. Specific duties and responsibilities may vary based on the business line supported (Agency — Nursing & Allied, MSP, HCS, and Locums) and will be assigned accordingly.

Works closely with Credentialing team, Clients, and Clinicians depending on the business line they are supporting.

What you’ll be doing
  • Maintains CE Direct account including setting up Clinicians accounts as needed
  • Enters, processes, and renews National Practitioner Data Bank (NPDB) registrations
  • Assists Clinicians with completing the I-9 form along with a visual inspection of supporting documents.
  • Completes E-verify for new hires and reverification for rehires, within established guidelines and time frames
  • Monitors expiring lists to/from Clients in order to provide daily status updates
    • Provide appropriate escalation of “at risk” items in the event they may impact Clinician’s assignments
    • Provide weekly reporting of expiring compliance items for client and/or Client Relations team as assigned
    • Manage/collect compliance requirements due for renewal
  • Reviews state rosters monthly to remove Clinicians as needed
  • IDFPR monthly reporting
  • Enters and maintains Clinicians into E-notify/Nursys roster
  • Completes SSN verifications via SSA as needed
  • Reviews and processes all reimbursements to ensure that guidelines are followed
  • Encouraged to participate in 1+ cross-training sessions per year (HCS, Locums, MSP, or agency) to support our shared services model
  • May be required to float to various business lines depending on business needs
