Job summary

Kindness Animal Hospital in Tulsa, OK is seeking a Credentialed Veterinary Technician to join a collaborative team. You will perform nursing tasks, assist with surgery, manage dental and radiology duties, and contribute to a broad animal caseload including avian and exotic patients.

Qualifications

Graduate of an AVMA-accredited Veterinary Technician program.
A current state veterinary technician license in good standing.
Proficiency in nursing, surgery, dental care, radiology, and laboratory procedures.
Calm and efficient under fast-paced or stressful situations.
Strong communication and collaborative work ethic.
One year of veterinary industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive patient care, including administering treatments, monitoring anesthesia, and running lab work.
Lead and mentor the medical team to maintain efficient workflow and support skill development.
Educate clients on treatments, review medical records, and answer questions confidently.
Help train staff and uphold high hospital standards and culture.
