Qualifications
- Graduate of an AVMA-accredited Veterinary Technician program.
- Current state veterinary technician license in good standing.
- Proficiency in nursing, surgery, dental care, radiology, and laboratory procedures.
- Calm and efficient in fast-paced situations.
- Strong communication and collaborative skills.
- One year of veterinary industry experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive patient care as part of the medical team, including treatments and monitoring.
- Assist with anesthesia, surgeries, and postoperative care.
- Educate clients about treatments, review medical records, and answer questions.
- Support training and maintain hospital standards and workflow.
