Job summary

CityPaws Animal Hospital is seeking a credentialed veterinary technician to join our two DC practices, 14th Street and Uptown. You’ll perform surgical assistance, anesthesia monitoring, dental care, and diagnostic support across two teams, enjoying a varied schedule and professional growth.

You’ll split time between locations, with a favorable pay range and benefits, including CE support, insurance, and a 401(k).

Qualifications

• Credentialed veterinary technician (CVT/LVT/RVT) required.
• Experience with anesthesia monitoring, diagnostics and clinical procedures is essential.
• Strong communication and empathy with clients and their pets.

Responsibilities

At CityPaws Animal Hospital, you’ll split your work week between our 14th Street and Uptown hospitals, two Washington, DC practices located just 16 minutes apart. That means more doctors to learn from, more cases and procedures, and a change of scenery without changing employers.

You’ll spend meaningful time doing the hands-on work you love, including surgery, anesthesia, dentistry, diagnostics, and patient care, while building relationships with two teams. And right now, we’re offering a $5,000 sign-on bonus for a credentialed veterinary technician ready to join us.

What You'll Be Doing:

Schedule

• Full-time
• Day shift
• 8-10 hour shift
• Rotating weekends

Compensation

$26.00-$34.00 per hour, based on skills and experience, PLUS a $5,000 sign-on bonus.
