Job description

Position Overview

We are hiring a Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our dedicated team at Hillsborough County Veterinary Hospital. This full‑time role offers flexible scheduling, including rotating Saturdays and a possibility of a four‑day work week. Salary is negotiable based on experience and licensure.


Key Responsibilities


  • Safe and effective patient handling and restraint

  • Knowledge of preventive care and vaccines

  • Attentive induction, monitoring, and recovery of surgical patients

  • Emergency and surgical care, including IV catheter placement and intubation

  • Obtaining diagnostics: radiographs, phlebotomy, sample collection, and in‑house lab work

  • Professional, compassionate communication with clients and staff

  • Documentation of patient records and client interactions
