Qualifications

• Graduate of an AVMA-accredited Veterinary Technician program.
• A current state veterinary technician license in good standing.
• Proficiency in nursing, surgery, dental care, radiology and lab procedures.
• Calm and efficient approach in fast-paced situations.
• Strong communication skills and collaborative work style.
• One year of experience in the veterinary industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Vital part of the medical team, providing comprehensive patient care including treatments, monitoring anesthesia, and lab work.
• Lead and mentor the medical team, ensuring efficient workflow and growth of teammates.
• Partner with clients, educating on treatments, reviewing medical records, and answering questions.
• Contribute to a positive culture through training, feedback, and maintaining high hospital standards.
