Grove City Veterinary Hospital in Grove City, OH, is seeking a credentialed veterinary technician who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. You will assist veterinarians in procedures, obtain histories, monitor anesthesia, and provide compassionate care using Fear-Free techniques.

Open to full-time or part-time, we offer a $500 sign-on bonus plus a $500 retention bonus at 90 days, plus strong team culture and opportunities for professional growth through comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Current state credential (CVT/LVT/RVT) in the state of employment.
• Strong anesthesia, surgical, laboratory, and nursing skills.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds independently (more with assistance).
• Willingness to learn EzyVet PiMS software, Vetcove Home Delivery, PetDesk, and Idexx bench top machines; proficiency in calculating accurate medication dosages.

Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians in medical and surgical procedures.
• Obtain patient histories, record vital signs, and provide client education.
• Prepare and monitor patients for anesthesia and surgery.
• Collect and process laboratory samples; perform in-house diagnostics.
• Take and maintain radiographs using proper safety protocols.
• Administer medications, vaccines, anesthesia, and treatments as directed.
• Provide safe animal handling (Fear‑Free and Low Stress Handling) and compassionate patient care.
• Maintain clean, organized exam rooms, treatment areas, and equipment.
• Communicate clearly with doctors and team members regarding patient care plans and client concerns.
