Job summary

Mission Pet Health in Idaho seeks a Credentialed Veterinary Technician to join a five-doctor team. The role emphasizes clinical skill, client communication, and mentorship within a supportive hospital network.

You will provide patient care, monitor anesthesia, perform lab work, and participate in ongoing education and credentialing efforts, while delivering excellent customer service to referrals and pet owners.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AVMA-accredited Veterinary Technician program.
• Current state veterinary technician license in good standing.
• Proficiency in nursing, surgery, dental care, radiology and laboratory procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive patient care including administering treatments and monitoring anesthesia.
• Perform lab work and assist in surgery.
• Lead and mentor teammates to ensure efficient workflow and high standards.
• Educate clients and review medical records to support informed decisions.
