Job summary

Whole Pet Veterinary Hospital (Wilmington) is seeking a Credentialed Veterinary Technician to join our on-site team. You will provide patient care, monitor anesthesia, perform lab work, and support the veterinary staff in a busy, holistic environment.

We value teamwork, client education, and high standards of care. AVMA accreditation and an active state license are required, with about one year of industry experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AVMA-accredited Veterinary Technician program.
• A current state veterinary technician license in good standing.
• Proficiency in nursing, surgery, dental care, radiology and laboratory procedures.
• One year of experience in the veterinary industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive patient care, including administering treatments, monitoring anesthesia, and performing lab work.
• Lead and mentor the medical team to ensure efficient workflow and growth.
• Partner with clients, educating them on treatments and reviewing medical records.
• Contribute to a positive hospital culture and ongoing training.
