Northgate Small Animal Hospital in Collinsville, IL is seeking a Credentialed Veterinary Technician (CVT) to join a collaborative, patient-focused team. The role involves performing patient assessments, anesthesia monitoring, dental radiography, and client education in a Fear Free environment.

Four 10-hour shifts with rotating Saturdays, plus a $1,500 sign-on bonus. We offer medical/dental/vision insurance, a 401(k) with company benefits, and ongoing professional development opportunities.

Qualifikationen

• Current CVT credential required.
• Ideal minimum of 1 year of experience as a credentialed veterinary technician.
• Strong technical and anesthesia monitoring skills.

Aufgaben

• Perform patient assessments and obtaining medical histories.
• Safely restraining patients using Fear Free techniques.
• Monitoring anesthesia and assisting with surgical procedures.
• Performing dental prophylaxis and dental radiography.
• Collecting laboratory samples and running in-house diagnostics.
• Administering medications, vaccines, and treatments as prescribed.
• Placing and maintaining intravenous catheters.
• Taking and positioning patients for digital radiographs.
• Educating clients on preventive care, medications, and treatment plans.
• Maintaining accurate medical records.
• Collaborating with veterinarians and the hospital team to provide exceptional patient care.
