Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in nursing.
• CPR and First Aid Certification.
• Possess California Driver’s License with evidence of insurability.
• Transcript copy to accompany application.
• Credential Copy (RN License) to be submitted.
• Letter of Introduction and Resume to be included.

Responsibilities

• Provide required health services for students identified with special needs.
• Train staff on medication administration, universal precautions, infectious disease control, illness policy.
• Conduct student and infant health and development assessments.
• Determine levels of services required for access to educational programs.
• Identify and assist in removal or modification of health-related barriers to learning.
• Participate as a member of the IEP team for students with special health care needs.
