Position Highlights:

  • Shift Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm
  • Location: 1814 Westchester Dr., High Point, NC 27262

How You’ll Impact Patient Care:

Your responsibilities as a CMA include, but are not limited to:

  • Providing exceptional patient care and supporting efficient medical operations
  • Managing clerical tasks, scheduling appointments, and assisting with examinations and procedures
  • Conducting patient interviews, recording vital signs, and maintaining accurate documentation
  • Preparing examination rooms, administering medications, and following infection prevention policies
  • Maintaining medication records and adhering to point-of-care testing policies

What You’ll Need:

  • High School Diploma or GED; Associate’s Degree in Medical Assisting preferred
  • Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross

Current Medical Assistant certification from one of the following is required:

  • CMA from the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA)
  • CCMA from the National Healthcareer Association (NHA)
  • NCMA from the National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT)
  • RMA from American Medical Technologists (AMT)
  • RMA from American Allied Health
  • NCMSMA from the National Healthcare Worker’s Association (NHCWA)
  • NRCMA from the National Association for Health Professionals (NAHP)
  • NRMA from the National Registry of Medical Assistants (NRMA)
