Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a Concept Artist to define the look of our collectible characters inspired by popular creators. You will translate a content creator or IP into a 2D concept that fits the brand aesthetic and accurately personifies the creator for fans to admire in real life or on their desks.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in concept art/drawing/sketching.
• Strong experience using Photoshop, Illustrator or Procreate.
• Effective communication skills.
• Ability to effectively multitask, prioritize and problem solve.
• Strong understanding of art fundamentals: colour theory, perspective and proportions.
• Visual development best-practices: roughs, silhouettes, lineups.
• Excellent visual eye and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Research and capture a content creator's personality, mood, content, community and other defining features into a 2D collectible.
• Quickly create initial concepts and effectively incorporate feedback into following iterations.
• Interpret your 2D concept into turnarounds to prepare for 3D modeling.
• Assist our 3D modelers by making supplemental 2D assets.
• Meet design deadlines.
