Job summary

Wide Angle Youth Media is seeking a Creative Workforce Lead Educator to design and deliver social media workforce development and media arts instruction for youth aged 18–26 in Baltimore. The Lead Educator partners with the Workforce Manager to implement pre-apprenticeship, internship, and other programs, turning goals into hands-on learning that builds technical media skills and workplace readiness.

• Minimum a bachelor’s degree or higher in Education/Media Arts or related field.
• Experience designing curricula and delivering instruction to youth/young adults.
• Strong collaboration and communication with multiple stakeholders.
• Proven ability to integrate technical media skills with workforce readiness.
• Commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, belonging, and anti-racist practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day instructional delivery for workforce development and media arts cohorts.
• Develop and continuously improve curriculum aligned with industry expectations.
• Assess participant progress and provide coaching on technical and professional skills.
• Collaborate with Workforce Manager and program staff across initiatives.
• Create an inclusive, engaging classroom environment and support program events.
