Job summary

South Hills Bible Chapel seeks a Creative Video Manager to champion the video production process, translating the Creative Arts Ministry's vision into compelling content from concept to distribution.

The role oversees pre/post production, collaborates with ministry leaders, manages equipment and volunteers, and contributes to church-wide videos for services, web, and social platforms.

Qualifications

• Experience in video production or related creative field; education in video/communications/creative arts preferred.
• Proficient with Adobe Creative Cloud applications: Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop.
• Experience with Sony mirrorless video/hybrid cameras or similar.
• Knowledge of lighting, audio capture, and basic studio production.

Responsibilities

• Oversee pre-production, production, and post-production for church-wide videos (sermon bumps, promos, recaps, baptisms, testimonies).
• Partner with ministry leaders and the Director of Creative Arts for interview/life-change videos.
• Manage and maintain video equipment, resources, and production spaces; identify equipment needs and make recommendations.
• Manage video request process with timelines and workload aligned to Director of Creative Arts priorities.
• Develop and execute creative concepts for video content aligned with the director’s vision.
• Oversee lighting and audio setups and backing tracks for productions.
• Create media for large-screen, web, and social contexts.
• Recruit, train, and schedule volunteers for the video team.

Job description

Vision : The Creative Video Manager will champion TBC's video production process, translating the creative vision of the Creative Arts Ministry into effective video content from pre-production and storyboarding through capture, editing, and distribution.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and implement pre-production, production, and post-production process for all church-wide creative videos (sermon bumps, promo & recap videos, baptism, testimonies etc.)
• Partner with ministry leaders and the Director of Creative Arts for interview/life-change style videos
• Manage and maintain creative video equipment, resources, and production spaces; identify equipment needs and make recommendations to the Director of Creative Arts.
• Manage the video request process, establishing project timelines, deadlines, and workload in alignment with priorities established by the Director of Creative Arts.
• Develop and execute creative concepts for video content in alignment with the overall creative direction established by the Director of Creative Arts.
• Oversee lighting and audio aspects of video production including various mic/light set-ups as well as video backing tracks
• Craft media appropriate for context – large screen/in-service, web, and social applications.
• Recruit, train, develop and schedule volunteers to assist on the video team in all areas (storyboarding, capturing, editing, etc.)
• Capture B-Roll at weekend services and special events on a regular basis
• Assist in the planning and production of special projects including holidays, message packages, and cross-church initiatives
• Build up a network and catalogue of off-site locations for creative production
• Resource technical arts with ideas for live-service production including shot selection, lighting, and equipment.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Supervisor.

Qualifications : The ideal candidate is a mature believer in agreement with the beliefs and teachings of The Bible Chapel. Experience in video production or a related creative field, with education or training in video, communications, or creative arts preferred. Proficient with Adobe Creative Cloud applications including: Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Photoshop, as well as other relevant video editing tools. Experience with Sony mirrorless video/hybrid cameras or other comparable camera systems. A working knowledge of lighting, audio capture, and basic studio production is also important. This individual should be organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Reporting : The Creative Video Manager reports to the Director of Creative Arts.
