MFI Technologies Incorporated is seeking an Assistant, Theatrical Music to support the Senior Vice President of the Theatrical Music Department. The role blends creative, administrative, and analytical tasks in a full-time capacity.

The successful candidate will manage scripts and licensing considerations, coordinate with music teams, and maintain professionalism and discretion in all communications. Compensation ranges from $45,000 to $50,000 USD per year.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Excellent organization and multitasking abilities.
• Strong written & verbal communication skills.
• Professionalism and discretion.
• Strong knowledge of music across genres and a good ear for matching tone and emotion.
• Social media knowledge as it relates to music trends, artists, songs.
• Familiarity with music licensing, copyright and publishing.
• Proficient in excel, Spotify & iTunes, Box, Scenechronize.
• Experience reading & breaking down scripts for music.
• Prior knowledge of music licensing terminology.
• Knowledge of film/tv composers.
• Knowledge of various music genres, producers, artists.

Responsibilities

• Assist SVP with administrative tasks for Theatrical Music department.
• Support creative, administrative and logistical workflows.
• Read and break down scripts for music cues and licensing considerations.
