Performance Marketer on Meta (Full-Time, Fully Remote)

140-180K | 1% Equity | YC-Backed | Millions in Revenue | Early Team Member

We're a Y Combinator-backed startup selling a DTC at-home health test. We have millions of dollars in revenue after only 12 months, and our TAM is massive. We're looking for a scrappy, hands-on marketer with extensive experience analyzing and creating Meta Ads to help us accelerate growth. Someone who isn't afraid to tackle tough or tedious problems. You'll work directly with the founders to test, build, and scale marketing channels that drive real revenue.

What you’ll actually do

  • Analyze ad performance data, understand what’s working, and try new things – fast
  • Read and understand charts effectively
  • Interpret metrics like CTR, Hook Rate, Hold Rate, Conversion Rate, AVG Watch Time to assess creative quality
  • Write ad briefs for our video editors to create short-form video ads
  • Build landing pages, A/B test them, and optimize for conversions using visual builders
  • Improve messaging across Ads and Landing Pages
  • Use AI tools to generate images, videos, and voiceovers for ad creative (e.g., Heygen, playjump, elevenlabs, Kling, VisualElectric)
  • Source UGC creators and instruct them to provide content
  • Support influencer partnerships and paid creator campaigns
  • Lead additional marketing team members as we onboard them

What we’re looking for in a candidate

  • 4+ years creating video ads in the DTC space with Meta Ads Manager
  • Deep understanding of metrics from Creative to Purchase funnel
  • Ability to make autonomous decisions
  • Quick comprehension of charts and graphs
  • Strong pattern recognition skills to identify trends in ad performance
  • Ability to learn new skills from online resources quickly
  • Fast computer skills, familiarity with shortcuts, and software interfaces
  • Moderate proficiency with Google Sheets

What is not required

  • Advanced video editing skills (e.g., Adobe Premiere, After Effects)
  • High-level awareness marketing
  • Experience with Google Ads

  • Built or scaled Meta Ad accounts to $50k+/day

  • Know how to generate high-performing creatives
  • Can design landing pages or craft headlines independently
  • Have startup experience and can prioritize effectively
  • Understand trade-offs between quality, time, and cost
  • Have experience with e-commerce, DTC, or health/wellness products
  • Possess copywriting or funnel optimization skills
  • Have strong opinions on hooks and scroll-stopping content
  • Experience with Shopify is a plus
